{"id":2,"date":"2006-09-19T22:47:45","date_gmt":"2006-09-20T03:47:45","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-09-13T16:25:22","modified_gmt":"2008-09-13T21:25:22","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.networkjack.info\/blog\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"text\">Welcome to my blog.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>My <a title=\"MacServe.net\" href=\"http:\/\/www.macserve.net\/\">company<\/a> supports a wide array of clients from Fortune 100 companies to mom &amp; pop shops.<\/p>\n<p>As such, I&#8217;ve learned enough to actually build some solutions on a wide array of devices from all sort of vendors.<\/p>\n<p>Here I&#8217;ll try and detail some of the experiences I have with those items.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Brian Blood, MacServe.net<\/p>\n<p>I intend to write on the following items (I&#8217;m posting this so I don&#8217;t forget):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NetScreen firewall setup with VPN access<\/li>\n<li>Cisco switches for the datacenter. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.<\/li>\n<li>Configuring bandwidth limits into a Cisco T1 router to assure QoS for Vonage VoIP ATAs<\/li>\n<li>Situations where that setup is absolutely useless.<\/li>\n<li>Getting useful SNMP from an APC network expansion card<\/li>\n<li>Application monitoring with cronned (sp?)
